Application Process

The analyst selection process

Applications for new members open at the beginning of each semester. It is important that you attend the informational meetings held during that time period, so that you may better understand our selection process. Our standard process consists of:

  1. A brief written application. In this application, you will submit your resume and let our team know who you are by responding to a few questions. Don’t be afraid to show off.

  2. A 45-minute group interview. Based on your written application, you may be invited to participate in a first-round group case interview. In this interview, you will be placed with a team of 3-4 other applicants with whom you will spend one hour analyzing a case and delivering actionable recommendations. The group interview is a trial of your ability to work with a team and think critically about challenges. You may want to explore business problem-solving in depth, and you should be prepared to formally communicate your thought processes to your interviewers.

  3. A 30-minute individual interview. Based on your successful first-round interview performance, you may continue to a second-round individual behavioral interview, which will allow us get a feel for who you are while assessing your experiences, ability to learn, and willingness to perform. Be ready to showcase your personality, your academic interests, and professional history. Additionally, knowledge on how to approach archetypal business problems will be helpful - specific details on how to prepare will be provided during our information sessions.
